Our Training Programme

We offer neurodivergent-affirming training for parent/carers, young people, and professionals. Our highly regarded training is led by experienced trainers with many years' experience in supporting young people and their families, including trainers who are autistic who share their valuable lived experience.

Autism and Behaviour We Find Challenging (parent/carer course)

A 5-week online course for parent/carers of autistic children and young people

THIS COURSE WILL CHANGE HOW YOU THINK ABOUT BEHAVIOUR!

This highly popular course acknowledges that parent/carers often experience behaviour and situations which are difficult to manage in the home and/or elsewhere. We will explore many aspects of challenging behaviour including causes, our response, therapeutic approaches to behaviour management and practical strategies.

A 5-week ONLINE course for professionals

Until now, we only provided this training to parent/carers - but professionals have asked to attend too!

The course acknowledges that we often experience behaviour and situations which are difficult to manage – both for the individual and those supporting them. We will explore many aspects of challenging behaviour including causes, our response, therapeutic approaches to behaviour management and practical strategies.

Autism & Me

An inspiring and NEW course for autistic young people aged 13 - 17 or 18 – 25

A NEW and UNIQUE opportunity for autistic 18 to 25 year olds to learn about autism, understand why some things may be difficult for you, identify your strengths, and meet others like you!

The course will provide a friendly, nurturing and fun space for young people to:

This webinar for parents, carers, and professionals will change the way you communicate with autistic people! 
 

This informative and practical webinar will provide lots of ideas on how to use visual prompts and strategies to support autistic children and adults – and understand why they work!

You will receive lots of practical and creative ways to support an autistic person and how to make adjustments for age and abilities.
