Activity Coordinator   

£26,000  (or pro rata if part-time)

35 hours per week (we may consider a part-time job share working minimum 16 hours per week). 

Office hours, and occasional evenings and Saturdays which are flexible and for which Time Off in Lieu (TOIL) is provided. You are required to work during the Easter school holidays, and at least 4 weeks during the Summer school holidays

Location: Our office in Abingdon, or working from home with at least one day a week in our office in Abingdon. Plus occasional visits to our youth groups and activities across Oxfordshire. Flexibility and own vehicle is required.

This role requires experience of running group work with young people.

Saturday Youth Support Worker 

£11 per hour, 3.25 hours per week

Saturdays, 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, Term-time only.

Wolvercote, Oxford

If you want to help create a fun, social, nurturing, and inspiring space for autistic children, then this job may be for you!

You will assist the Youth Group Coordinator to deliver weekly youth group sessions including supporting children and assisting with planning and running activities.  The youth group provides a relaxed space for members to play, chillout, socialise, organise activities and offsite trips, and build confidence, social skills, and friendships.  Typically, the members are playful, engaging, creative, and are autistic without a learning disability. They love attending our youth group because it’s their space to be themselves, socialise, play,  and make friends. They need support managing social situations, group play, and emotions.

Weekly working hours are Saturdays 9:30AM to 12:30PM during school term-time only (39 weeks per year). An additional 15 minutes per week is provided for planning, occasional staff meetings, or training – this additional time may be accrued and used as & when needed.

The successful candidate must be able to support children on the autism spectrum, be punctual and reliable, work responsibly using initiative as well as a team, can model and encourage social skills, and have a sense of fun and be able to participate in play activities. Professional experience in working with children in a group setting is essential.

Youth Support Workers (Casual staff) 

£11 per hour

Casual work. Flexible work – you choose your work from the dates we offer! 

– Summer and Easter school holidays – Various dates and locations across Oxfordshire
– Term-time –
Wednesday/Friday evenings and/or Saturday mornings at youth groups in Oxford.


We are looking for enthusiastic Youth Support Workers to support young people who are autistic without a Learning Disability.
Work is flexible and is offered during Summer and Easter school holidays as well as term-time.

  • Summer and Easter school holidays: Join our staff team at our holiday activities – providing fun activities such as gaming, horse-riding, arts and crafts, laser tag, bowling, and ice skating.  You will be supporting young people who are aged 8 – 17, fun-loving, engaging and are autistic without a Learning Disability.
    Hours are Monday – Friday, at various times and locations. You will be provided with our Easter/Summer programme, asked for your availability and preference, and allocated work accordingly.
  • Term-time – occasional evenings and/or Saturday mornings: To cover staff at our youth groups. Our youth groups are well established and young people enjoy sociable and friendly weekly sessions, led by experienced staff and supported by volunteers. Locations are in Oxford and Wolvercote.
    Hours are Weds and Friday evenings and Saturday mornings – when needed.

Professional experience in working with young people in a group setting is essential. It is essential that you can communicate effectively with young autistic people, have good social skills, are able to participate in play and leisure activities, and can work effectively using your own initiative as well as in a team
