Saturday Youth Group Coordinator 

£11.50 per hour, 4 hours per week
Saturdays 9:30am – 12:30pm, Term time only
Based in Wolvercote, Oxford
Permanent contract

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to manage our Saturday youth group for 8-12 year olds with Asperger Syndrome/high functioning autism. The post holder will be responsible for running the youth group; organise onsite and offsite activities; manage the support for young people to participate in activities; manage 1:1 and group work; manage two staff and volunteers.

Core working hours will be Saturdays 9:30am – 12:30pm term-time only (39 weeks) plus an additional 1 hour per week accrued for planning, attending periodic staff meetings, producing quarterly reports, or attending training.

Professional experience of working with young people on the autism spectrum is essential.

If you have experience of supporting young people with autism, can organise and deliver play activities, work effectively using your initiative, are a great team player, reliable, can motivate staff, and knowledgeable in relevant policy and procedures – we would love to hear from you!

Casual Support Workers

£10 per hour
Flexible work available during Summer and Easter school holidays, plus occasional evenings and Saturdays during term time.
Various locations in Oxford, Abingdon, and across Oxfordshire

We are looking for enthusiastic Casual Support Workers to assist with our Holiday Activities for 8-17 year olds with Asperger Syndrome/higher functioning autism.  You will support young people to participate in activities, assist with running activities, and facilitate social skills and friendships.

Activities run during Summer and Easter school holidays. Working hours and locations vary.

Experience of working with young people on the autism spectrum is essential.

Occasional work will also be available at our youth groups during term time on Wednesday evenings, Thursday evenings, and Saturday mornings.

If you can support young people with autism, have strong social skills, are able to participate in play and leisure activities, and can work effectively using your own initiative and as a team – we would love to hear from you!
